Our project focuses on individuals and showing them that dealing with problems as part of a network of people will lead to easier, faster and better results. We want to help teachers as well as students to strengthen their self-esteem. We want to show that emotional stability will increase motivation in tackling demanding tasks in school. This applies to both teachers and students. At a basic level it means being able to ask for help and being willing to give it. The activities are designed to promote teamwork while at the same time working on topics closely related to empowerment, self-esteem and solidarity. We would like to move from an impact at the individual level, to an awareness of the importance of solidarity at increasingly more encompassing levels such as the school, the job market, the national level and finally the European Union.

There will be three kinds of project activities: 1) the ones that will take place in transnational teacher-student meetings, 2) the ones that will happen in each school before and after the teacher-student meetings and 3) the ones that will be done before and during the coordinator-teacher/principal meetings. As part of each activity students and teachers will work on writing a blog post about the activity to involve the whole school community in the project. Video-conferences will be organized on a regular basis.
